The Artscene empowers people to express creativity in any artform, whether a beginner or professional, by sharing their work and stories in whatever medium helps their art shine the brightest.
The Artsceneは、アーティストの作品、ビジョン、ストーリーを世界中のさまざまな言語、文化、国の人たちと共有し、創造性を追求するアーティストをサポートします。The Artsceneは、どのような形態でも創造性を表現できるように、彼・彼女らの芸術を最も輝かせられるような方法で作品やストーリーを共有します。
By building a community connected around the globe, and by presenting the roots of influences and artistry, The Artscene inspires, invites, and encourages new fans of art to appreciate the depth of artists’ souls while connecting those artists with each other in mutual, modern patronage.
The Artsceneは、アーティストの背景にある考えや芸術性を紹介することで、世界中のアート好きの人たちがつながる場をつくります。The Artsceneはアートの楽しみ方やアーティストの魅力をわかりやすく伝えることで、アートを身近に感じ、新たにアートを好きになる人たちを生み出していきます。そして、アーティスト同士やアート好きの人たちが互いに支援し合う現代のパトロンの形をつくります。
Lisa Marc, Founder of The Artscene | マーク理沙 The Artscene 創業者
Born in Paris, Lisa grew up in Tokyo and has lived in Paris since 2018. Influenced by her grandparents and parents, who lived in France, she was exposed to the art world at an early age. After graduating from Keio University in Japan, she worked as an investor and editor in the financial and technology industries. While working with startups and growing companies with visionary missions, Lisa discovered the similarities between art and startups.
パリ生まれ、東京育ち。2018年からパリ在住。フランスに住んでいた祖父母・両親の影響で、幼い頃から美術の世界に触れる。慶應義塾大学卒業後、金融・テクノロジー業界で投資家・編集者として従事。新たな世界を生み出すスタートアップや成長企業に関わる中で、アートとスタートアップの共通点を見出す。
Lisa founded The Artscene, inheriting her grandfather's drive to "internationalize the Japanese art market." She is striving to create a world where everyone can enjoy art by creating an open environment and system for artists around the world to concentrate on their creative work and inspire each other. To make art more accessible to everyone, she actively publishes art content in Japanese and English. She is passionate about contemporary art.
リサは亡き祖父が生前取り組んだ「日本美術市場の国際化」の意思を引き継ぎ、The Artscene（アートシーン）を創業。誰もがアートを楽しめる世界を実現するため、世界中のアーティストが創造力を発揮して制作に集中できる環境・仕組みづくりに邁進中。アートを身近に感じてもらうため、日本語・英語での情報発信も積極的に行う。現代アート偏愛。
Eric Beal, Co-Founder of The Artscene | エリック・ビール The Artscene 共同創業者
Originally from Texas, Eric now lives in Southern California. He has taken creation seriously as a form of expression since the age of 6. He was taught the basics of art through public school and began experimenting with styles through observations, trial, and error. Developing his own spray painting style through his 20s, Eric honed in after moving from Tokyo to Los Angeles in 2017, turning to topic matter that affected society on the individual level.
米国テキサス州生まれ。現在は南カリフォルニアに在住するアメリカ人のアーティスト。6歳から創作活動に真剣に取り組む。公立学校で美術の基礎を学び、試行錯誤を繰り返し、20代を通じて独自のスプレーアートスタイルを開発する。2017年に東京からロサンゼルスに移住後、世界が抱える社会問題を提起し、個人の意識改革を図る作品を制作している。
Eric brings an artist’s perspective as Co-Founder of The Artscene. Knowing that art can translate human emotions across audiences, languages, and cultures, he is striving to break barriers of entry into the art world and spark passion for the creative pursuit.
エリックは、The Artsceneの共同創業者としてアーティストの視点をもたらす。彼はアートが鑑賞者、言語、文化を超えて人間の感情を伝えられると信じている。難しく捉えられがちなアート界の壁を破り、創造性を追求することに情熱を注いでいる。
Misaki Nozawa, Chief Design Officer of The Artscene | 野澤美咲 The Artscene チーフ・デザイン・オフィサー
Born in Tokyo, Misaki grew up in Southern California. From a young age, she showed a keen interest in creativity and creation. She studied architectural design at Waseda University where she also contributed to design education as a teaching assistant. She moved to Paris in 2016 to pursue her career in architecture, working for multiple international agencies while also taking on personal design projects. She has experience in building design, as well as exhibition design and scenography.
東京生まれ、南カリフォルニアで育ち。幼い頃から創造性やクリエイションに強い関心を示す。早稲田大学で建築デザインを学び、ティーチングアシスタントとしてデザイン教育にも貢献してきた。2016年、建築のキャリアを追求するためパリに移住し、複数の国際的な設計事務所で働きながら、フリーランスとしても設計プロジェクトを手がける。建築デザインと共に、展覧計画の経験を持つ。
Misaki brings an architect’s approach to The Artscene, contributing her understanding of space as well as her project management skills. She believes that the experience of space is a big contributor to the way in which we experience artwork. A strong believer in the power of creation to move and inspire the individual, as well as in its importance in society, she aspires to create a world that better supports the creative profession.
美咲は建築家としてのアプローチを The Artscene にもたらし、空間に対する理解とプロジェクト・マネジメントのスキルを持ち合わせる。彼女は作品の置かれた空間体験が、作品自体の鑑賞体験に大きく寄与すると信じている。個人を感動させ、インスパイアする創造の力と、その社会への重要性を強く信じ、クリエイティブな職種をよりよくサポートする世界の創造を目指している。
